Buenos Aires, November 21 (NA) – Two brothers have been arrested for their alleged participation in a violent assault on a 16-year-old teenager during an informal football match on a rented pitch in the city of Mariano Acosta, Buenos Aires Province. The incident was caught on video that went viral in recent days. Three relatives are involved, and one is still at large. According to official sources reported to the Noticias Argentinas agency, the detainees were identified as Juan Cruz Alegre, 17, and César Adrián Alegre, 29. They were arrested during a raid ordered by Guarantee Court No. 3 at a residence on Iberá Street 4000. The third implicated individual, 27-year-old Enzo Sebastián Alegre, is being actively sought. Miguel Torres, 16, was attacked on November 18 during the game. Footage shared on social media showed Juan Cruz repeatedly hitting the teenager, while Enzo kicked him in the head, rendering him unconscious, and César urged the attack to continue. Torres was taken to the Héroes de Malvinas Hospital, where he was treated and subsequently discharged, out of danger. During the operation, the Merlo Police seized clothing believed to have been worn during the attack. No weapons were found at the scene. The detainees are now in the custody of the Juvenile Criminal Responsibility Court No. 2, charged with attempted homicide. The investigation is being handled by Prosecutor's Office No. 4 and the Prosecutor's Office for Minors No. 2. Meanwhile, personnel from the 6th Police Station of Mariano Acosta, along with other Merlo precincts, have taken on the task of locating the fugitive.
